Wyaston is a pretty little hamlet accessable via narrow country lanes. Wyaston is mentioned in the Domesday Book, where Earl Edwin held sway over 9 villagers and 4 small holders - little has changed, except that Earl Edwin is long gone and there are now perhaps a few more houses and a great pub!
Wyaston takes part in the annual well dressing that is a feature of Derbyshire in the spring.
