Open Door Youth Theater

The Peakland Players OPEN DOOR YOUTH THEATRE is for young people aged 10-18 interested in all aspects of theatre and performing. Anyone who wants to get involved in acting, dancing, singing, make-up, lighting, sound, back-stage management, set design, graphic, marketing etc. is welcome to join. We currently meet on Saturday afternoons from 2-5 at St Oswalds Hall. There is an annual joining fee of £2, (which includes insurance cover), and a workshop fee of £1.

We regularly put on productions, the next is Dracula Spectacula on the 28/29/30 October at the Empire Hall. We run workshops on all aspects of theatre - the next series is on comedy. We also go on outings to the theatre. We will be going to see the ex. West End production of 'GREASE' at the Regents Theatre in Stoke on Saturday 4th December and to Derby Youth Theatre Workshop's production of 'Grimm Tales', on Friday 10th December.
